Q. Is our information secure?
A. One of the key requirements for parents is to keep their child’s information safe and secure. We have implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and encrypted. Overall, we have created a secure solution including user authentication for parents to communicate with the teachers and school and stay involved in their child’s experience at the school.

Q. What equipment will the school need to use Edukids Connect System?
A. Teachers - Will require an iPad/Android tablet, smartphone, or computer (desktop or laptop) in the classroom. Directors - Will utilize a computer (desktop or laptop) or a tablet or smartphone.

Q. Will there be a cost for parents to download the Edukids app?
A. No, the EduKids App is available to the Parents on the iTunes store at no cost ($0).

Q. Can the Edukids System reflect my school’s brand?
A. Yes it can reflect the school brand. Please contact us about adding your logo.

A. Yes there is a free trial before your subscription begins. Please contact us for the details.

Q. Does the school need to pay for a data plan for teachers’ iPads?
A. No, teachers can utilize the school’s wireless internet connection for connecting the iPad to the EduKids Connect Systems App.

Q. Can teacher use the Edukids App if the school wi-fi is down?
A. Teachers can utilize this App on a field trip if the school owns an iPad or an iPhone with a data plan.

Q. Can teacher use the Edukids System on a field trip without wi-fi?

Q. How much does the EduKids Connect System cost?
A. Please contact us or email us at info@edukidsconnectsystems.com for the monthly subscription free price. There is a simple formula and there are no hidden costs.

Q. Do you provide any training?
A. Yes, we can provide training for your staff and directors. For clients in the NYC area, we offer onsite training. For clients in other locations we use a video/audio technology training system and phone/email support.

Q. Can you import information about our existing clientele?
A. Yes, we can import existing data from the various Childcare Management software that centers currently use.

Q. What areas does EduKids serve?
A. EduKids’ headquarters is in New York City, so our client service area is mainly in the Greater New York area, but we have clients in other states as well.

Parents

Q. Is there a cost for this service?
A. Nope! The App is free and there is no additional cost to use this service.

Q. What equipment do I need to use this service?
A. Any smartphone, tablet or desktop computer that is connected to the internet. You can use wi-fi or a data plan.

Q. How does the activation process work?
A. You will receive an email from your child’s center. Click the link in that email to activate your account. You will be asked to enter a new password after which your account is activated and ready for use.

Q. I’ve activated my account. How do I sign into online access?
A. When using a desktop computer, log on to our website with your username (e-mail id which you used to register with EduKids) and password. When using an iPhone or iPad, download our app and sign in with the same username and password.

Q. What information will I see through EduKids Connect Systems?
A. Here are the highlights: Information about your child’s daily experience with photos or videos that you can share with family and friends; lesson plans, lunch menus, parent handbooks, center policies, injury reports, holiday schedules, alerts and messages from the center, etc. Sign in to see it all!

Q. Do I need to create multiple accounts if I have more than one child enrolled at the center?
A. Nope! If you have more than one child enrolled at the center, they will all be linked to your account.

Q. Can I use my Android device?
A. Yes. Android users can take advantage of Edukids Connect Systems in two ways: They can access the Edukids Connect Systems website by logging on to the internet either via their desktop computer or by using their phone.

Q. Do you have an Android app?
A. Not yet, we are working on it.
